NAMI GLAC is the leading county-wide organization composed of grassroots-based chapters that promote wellness, recovery, equality, and dignity for individuals and families affected by mental illness and the community at large. They work to provide leadership in advocacy, education, support, and public awareness throughout Los Angeles County. Mental illness can be treated, and people living with mental illness can recover to live fulfilling lives.

2024 Bebe Moore Campbell National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month

NAMI GLAC is dedicated to eliminating stigma and reshaping mental health by elevating the voices of those in communities that have been historically neglected and marginalized.

To provide culturally-relevant support to diverse communities, NAMI GLAC offers NAMI Sharing Hope for Black/African Ancestry communities and NAMI Compartiendo Esperanza for those of the Hispanic/Latin American community.
