We are NAMI Greater Los Angeles County and we believe in a Los Angeles where every Angeleno can thrive, regardless of zip code or neighborhood. Where everyone has access to free mental health resources. We are dedicated to improving the lives of Angelenos affected by mental illness. We strive to create a better tomorrow where all people affected by mental illness can experience hope, recovery and wellness in a world free of stigma.

When you become a monthly donor, you help ensure that the funding for critical programs, services and the Help Line is consistent throughout the year. As a result, monthly donors are greatly appreciated.
Please know that no donation is too small to be made. Every dollar makes a difference.

Gifts in honor or in memory of a friend or family member are a beautiful way to honor and remember those you love and support NAMI Greater Los Angeles County. You can click the button to make your gift online and indicate your selection on the form.
If giving by phone or mail, simply email Liz Jackson at [email protected]. Special acknowledgment letters will be sent to the person or family you are honoring.
Memorials: A memorial gift is a meaningful way to turn your memories of a loved one who has passed away into purpose, by making a gift in their honor.
Tributes: A tribute gift is a way to mark special occasions or to pay tribute to an individual who has made a difference in your life. Tribute gifts honor celebrations such as: anniversaries, births, bar/bat mitzvah, graduations, sweet sixteens, quinceneras, weddings and professional milestones such as work anniversaries, promotions and retirements.
Have a birthday or special event coming up? Ask friends to donate to NAMI GLAC instead of buying gifts. It’s super easy to create your own fundraiser on Facebook that raises funds for NAMI GLAC. Learn how easy it can be.
When you make a Donor-Advised Fund gift, it’s possible that the sponsoring organization will not share your information with us. Please send us a note at [email protected] when you’ve made a gift so we can make sure to thank you and ensure that your gift gets to where it is intended.

How To Donate:
- Step 1: Call 855-520-2100 to speak with a donation coordinator, and complete the process over the phone OR Click the Donate Now button below
- Step 2: Fill out the Donation Request Form on our Cars2Charities sponsored Donation Page!
- Step 3: A donation coordinator will call you to schedule the pick up, and once your car has sold, your tax deduction comes in the mail!

Matching Gifts
Did you know many companies offer matching gifts to encourage giving among their employees? The impact you’re making on mental health in Greater Los Angeles can be doubled or even tripled by a company match. Employers may also offer volunteer matching programs that match volunteer hours with corporate donations.

Donate more than cash
Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) are investment accounts for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations. If you have a DAF, you can use FreeWill’s DAF tool.
FreeWill’s DAF tool empowers you to make a targeted impact by recommending how you’d like your grant to be allocated, communicating your wishes to NAMI Greater Los Angeles County, sharing the details of your DAF grant, and navigating to your DAF provider. It’s also a great way to ensure our organization has consistent financial support while saving cash for immediate needs.
Qualified Charitable Distributions
If you are 70.5 or older and have a traditional IRA, you can make a donation from your IRA account. IRA gifts are generally not recognized as taxable income and if you must take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) this year, giving from your IRA is a compassionate way to fulfill it.
