Inspiring Stories and Personal Journeys
Throughout the day, you’ll hear powerful stories from individuals who have navigated their own mental health journeys. These personal narratives can be incredibly inspiring and validating.
Whether it’s a keynote speaker sharing their recovery story or a panel discussion featuring diverse perspectives, these moments remind us of the resilience and strength within each person. They also foster empathy and reduce stigma by humanizing mental health experiences.
Introducing our Keynote Speaker - Lindsey Horvath
Lindsey Horvath, Los Angeles County Supervisor, 3rd District
Lindsey Horvath is a dedicated public servant and the current Los Angeles County Supervisor for the 3rd District. She assumed office on December 5, 2022, and quickly made history as the youngest-ever Chair of the Board. Before this role, Horvath served as a City Councilmember and the longest consecutively serving Mayor of West Hollywood. Her career is marked by her commitment to tackling homelessness, advocating for women’s and LGBTQ+ rights, and building sustainable communities. Horvath’s leadership continues to bring a fresh perspective to LA County, focusing on inclusivity and community-driven solutions.
From self-care practices to effective communication techniques, you’ll leave with actionable strategies. Whether you’re a caregiver seeking better ways to support a loved one or an advocate aiming to create change, these takeaways can make a real difference.
