The Glendale News-Press published an article this week featuring a NAMI Ending the Silence presentation that took place this summer at John Muir Middle School in Burbank.

NAMI Ending the Silence (ETS) is an engaging presentation that helps middle and high-school-aged youth learn about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if you or a loved one are showing symptoms of a mental health condition.

The piece, written by Kennedy Zak, brings to light the dedication, bravery, and wisdom of the presenters, Katrina Yanez and Marco Herrera. The article also features background about Ending the Silence and its benefits to young people from NAMI Glendale’s Community Programs Coordinator, Reg Clarkinia.
